even if it is rainy, crappy and miserable, it's fridnesday and tomorrow is my favorite holiday. no pressure, no presents, just family, food and fun.
we are headed to our own family version of reality tv where we never know what may happen. hubby is rubbing his hands with glee and hoping for the worst best.
tomorrow will be my only day off of this 4 day break since i am still in stress mode over applications and finals and papers, oh my. can't we just tell the truth in this essay? "please let me in. i don't want to go to fry school. thank you"
note to mini-van moms on my street:
i know it is wet and the sun is not sunny....and i know that you usually don't drive little billy sue bob to school, but that doesn't mean you get to ignore traffic rules and common courtesy. if you don't use a signal, i am going to get out and slap you. if you cut me off, i am going to get out and slap you. if you make that damn illegal left again, i am going to get out and slap you, a lot. and if you don't give me a thank you wave....oh there will be much slapping.
now go back to your usual morning routine and leave us to grumble on the roads in our predictable little snaking line of traffic.
thank you.
michelle
(who is soon to be wrapping hand in ice from lots and lots of slapping)
