since someone *coughBRADcough* seems to be a smart ass this morning posting non-mets-like things in my comments.....

i did watch the game yesterday. and for three brief innings i was jumping up and down, cheering, high-fiving c so hard he fell off the couch, doing my "we are going to win the series this year" dance....

and then it wasn't as pretty.

i didn't get to watch until after 9:00, and then i had an idea of the outcome. someone *coughDADcough* warned me the end wasn't quite as thrilling as the beginning.

hubby wound up working til 9:45 and i just started watching without him. yeah, yeah, he works hard, but lately his schedule has been a real pain in the ass. and it appears that he will definitely be away sept 15, 16 and 17. (my birthday and our 10 yr anniversary) i am all out of "aw, that's ok" and "sorry you had to work" for him.

so here's the rundown on the game...and yes, they lost, but i am not in the least upset by it. in fact, i am sad that i can't watch more today. (insert appropriate spring training cliche here):
