I believe in the church of baseball. I've tried all the major religions and most of the minor ones.I've worshipped Buddha, Allah, Brahma, Vishnu, Siva, trees, mushrooms and Isadora Duncan. I know things. For instance, there are 108 beads in a Catholic's rosary and there are 108 stitches in a baseball. When I learned that, I gave Jesus a chance. But it just didn't work out between us. The Lord laid too much guilt on me. I prefer metaphysics to theology. You see, there's no guilt in baseball. And it's never boring, which makes it like sex...It's a long season and you gotta trust it. aaaaah!
crap! i forgot i had a meeting a j's school this afternoon. so much for a relaxing morning and getting a few things done!
off to run around like a crazy person!
on edit: oh wait! i forgot about not one but two. count 'em. two. meetings today. and they are both at 1:00!! so i am trying to rearrange one, a friend is rescuing me by picking up c at school. and then i am off to fight with counselors. oh and it is crappy and raining! this isn't the blanket, movie, nap kind of morning i had planned. sheesh!
