looks pretty interesting. kind of a book club/book swap sort of thing. i still have to check it out, but thought i would share.

on edit: i just checked this out and registered and it sounds like a lot of fun. i am not willing to part with most of my books, but i do have a large stack of paperbacks that could use a new home. go ahead and check it out. you know you have books lying about that should be released!

yeah, book crossing is very cool..i've belonged for awhile, but have yet to leave a book anywhere..

I think that's the beauty of this. You can swap books and get them back. I'd imagine that you'd lose a percentage of them, I'm not sure. Kymberlie would probably know.

The book ring looks like something I'll try with a book I wouldn't be upset if I lost. In theory, you make a list, then they keep sending it to the next person in line. You should be the last in line, thus you get it back in awhile, depending on how many people you allow on the list and how fast they read.
