A dog had followed his owner to school. His owner was a
fourth grader at a public elementary school. However,
when the bell rang, the dog sidled inside the building and
made it all the way to the child's classroom before a
teacher noticed and shoo'ed him outside, closing the
door behind him. The dog sat down, whimpered and
stared at the closed doors. Then God appeared beside
the dog, patted his head, and said, "Don't feel bad fella'....
they won't let ME in either."
say it with me now:
because neither of them belong in a public school!!!
i don't know why these forwards make me so crazy, but they do. and this one is no exception. gah! adding a picture of a sickeningly sweet puppy does not help matters. i don't want to reply because i don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. i know that they really
do mean well. but the thing is, i don't believe in organized religion. i don't believe in god in the way that they do. i have no problem with anything anyone else wants to believe in but i don't want my kids taught religion at a public school. we won't even go into religion
in place of science! pray at home. pray at church. pray on the way in to work. good on you. i am glad that you found something that gives you solace. but don't make me pray with you and don't feel bad for me because i don't believe what you do. please respect that my beliefs differ from yours.
i keep thinking that the best way to retaliate is to just forward them my political emails--you know, just to share. maybe they are interested in signing a petition or two or donating funds, who knows?
