i realized this afternoon that none of j's shorts fit. eek! ok, no reason to panic, i just head out to the mall.


i hit all the favorites, old navy, target, gap kids. nothing. not one single pair of shorts in his size. gah.


so i figure i would head to sears. yeah yeah, i know. but i have been watching extreme makeover home edition and they assure me Ty shops there. and i figure if he isn't there they will have one of ty's helpers (kind of like how you don't really see santa but "santas helpers" at xmas, but hotter, scruffier, more rugged and with a tool belt!)
so what do i get? a hot man? no...an elderly woman. a. painfully. slow. elderly. woman. we bought three pair of shorts and a shirt and it took her over 15 minutes to ring it up.


do you know what i could have done with ty in that amount of time? i was cheated. they have been showing ty there. bait and switch i tell you, bait and switch.
