un-friggin-believable. well, sadly, not that unbelievable.
and let's all thank the religious right who came out in droves to vote for a more christian man. that's right, the youth didn't get off their collective asses and vote and the religious right in fear of gays and my right to choose scurried off to the polls.
i will be sadly counting the days until 2008 while i worry that those supreme court seats will be taken by people looking to take away my rights. contitutional ammendments have never been to strip away rights but to protect them.
i can only imagine what the rest of the world is thinking as we are on display as a country deeply divided and apparently incapable of an informed decision.
i saw exit interviews with people citing that they cast their vote for bush because he was a more christian man. i will spend the next four years chanting "church and state" and hoping that the little buttmonkey remembers that he is not representing me to his god but representing the people, all of the people, not just the nutjobs, and what is in the best interest of the country not just the president and his haliburton friends.
