so....how was your mother's day?
mine was good, busy, but good.

went to my mom's house where c caught this fish (and four others! as he will gladly tell you). had some dinner and hung out in the yard. i forget how nice it is to hang out on the lake. i grew up there, but it seems like another lifetime ago. it looks so amazing this time of year:

but the boys had fun going out in the boat and fishing and playing badminton. well, c did. j fell asleep on the couch for most of it. and that was after the car ride was spent like this:

so today starts my non-scheduled summer. for now i am overwhelmed with a house that looks as if robbers came in, threw things around and then fled in terror from the sight of the mess. i need to get in serious "throw-it-out" mode. everything must go!
