I believe in the church of baseball. I've tried all the major religions and most of the minor ones.I've worshipped Buddha, Allah, Brahma, Vishnu, Siva, trees, mushrooms and Isadora Duncan. I know things. For instance, there are 108 beads in a Catholic's rosary and there are 108 stitches in a baseball. When I learned that, I gave Jesus a chance. But it just didn't work out between us. The Lord laid too much guilt on me. I prefer metaphysics to theology. You see, there's no guilt in baseball. And it's never boring, which makes it like sex...It's a long season and you gotta trust it. since i am home anyway
so the little guy really can't move his neck and he wasn't just trying to get out of school.
i, who really can't afford to miss another day, spent the morning taking him to the dr.
1- he pulled something in his neck. some good drugs that will knock his little butt out have been sent for.
2- strepth throat. grrrr. looks like another day home with me tomorrow.
so while he sleeps it off on the couch, i made a skin for st patrick's day. no little shamrocks, but some great celtic knotwork and graphics. the skin is fairly image heavy so it isn't for dial-up. sorry. but i like it.
(took down the martini one for now. i will bring it back later)
