my day at the spa...my yearly trip with my mom, sister and aunt. i never manage to pull off tranquil, but we always have a great day.

this morning i get there and my itinerary says:

11:00 swedish massage
12:00 pedicure with aromatherapy
1:00 chicken wrap

chicken wrap???

i don't remember signing up for the poultry package. my sister and i are falling down on the floor laughing while people swirl around us trying to maintain some sense of tranquility. ok, fine, it's lunch. we're sorry.

then after stripping down to just a robe and trotting around with all the other robed patrons, my sister and i manage to get lost and take the elevator to the lobby, where there are people who are still dressed. now we are giggling again and the desk people are mumbling something about "chicken people."

great day. wonderful massage. my toes look dazzling and my feet are soft and smooth.

and we each had a chicken wrap.

ok, still laughing. a chicken wrap people...it's funny! really.
