The Temptress Four by Gaby Triana

The Temptress Four by Gaby Triana is a story about four friends who go on a cruise together right after high school graduation. Shortly before the cruise a fortune teller warns them that one of them will not return from their upcoming voyage.

This is kind of like a junior version of Sex and the City takes a vacation, without the sex (although with its share of mature themes). It's a YA book recommended for ages 12 and up - while that's appropriate for the book's reading difficulty level, I think that the story's subject matter would be more appropriate for a slightly older age group.

That reservation aside, this is a nice story about friendship, romance and coming-of-age. It's well written and enjoyable - it would be a good book to read on the beach or while otherwise hanging out on a summer day.
