Access Philadelphia

At the ALA Midwinter conference, my friends and I were very happy to pick up copies of Access Philadelphia, recently published by HarperCollins. Access Philadelphia is helpful guide. It starts out with introductory information about the city, including the airport and general information about mass transportation, etc. It then provides detailed descriptions of each of Philadelphia's neighborhoods. There are also sections describing Gay Philadelphia and day trips that one can take from Philly. The inside back cover of the book has a color coded map of the Septa trains.

I am not a Philadelphia native, and I still have trouble getting my bearings when I visit Philly. With that in mind, I'm very excited to have this book - I expect it to be a very helpful resource in future visits.
