i love my sister and her girls. really. but i don't love anyone at 6:30 in the morning and neither does my crabby-ass son. we are heading out early to help my sister out (love you!) i imagine that j won't even wake up 'til after we are home but c is coming along for the ride.


i should be sleeping because i am old and will be heading out early but the mets are out west so i am up late watching the game. the new MSG commercials with mr met getting into trouble while the mets are away are cracking me up. has anyone else seen them? he is jumping the mets bullpen baseball golf cart off a ramp, carving small animals out of the mets' bats and shooting the field crew in the head with the t-shirt gun while the announcer tells us that it's a good thing the mets will be home soon.


the last is my favorite. mr met ducks down ineffectively hiding in the seats and the ground crew guy says, "dude. i can see like 80% of your head." lol. when you have kids that look like bobble head dolls (huge heads!!) this is cause for chuckles and even guffaws!


off to go watch the end of the game. i am only going to close my eyes on commercials. really.
