ok, i am going to let him live. he's still grumpy but i was fairly forceful in letting him know i was less than pleased with the criticism.
(in other words, the poor guy got an earful!)

and hey! i did stuff today. no really. stuff. i have been loafing about so far this break getting over being sick and generally being lazy. but today there was stuff. and it was done.

the boys' rooms both have new rugs and i hauled the other ones out to the garbage. i cleaned. real cleaning that involved throwing away bags and bags of junk while no one was looking. not my junk. i need that. but other junk.

and i got a new tv for downstairs so that i can hook tivo up down there and the kids can tivo cartoons all they want leaving us plenty of room up here for our very important grown-up tivo-ing. (buffy!)

now, to top off a day of domesticity i am cooking an actual meal. it involves recipes and fresh food and there is no shape of pasta in sight. fresh aspargus and lemon chicken.

i think tomorrow i may go back to lazing about. i got much more reading and movie watching done that way.
