i am officially on spring break.


that makes me realize just how close to the end of this i am.
let's start with kalamazoo. just confirmed all reservations--conference, airline and hotel (yes, hotel...i served my time in dorms and i am not going there again. room service and a big bed all to myself sounds like heaven)
and i was thinking that if anyone who reads this is going and might want to say hi in person that might be fun. i know a couple of you are going. i will mention it again as we get closer but just leave a comment or email me and we can figure something out.


as soon as i get back i take one more final on that monday and graduate on friday. graduate!!


i am trying not to make lists of the stacks of papers i need to do before then. i am trying not to panic. i am trying to remember to breathe. but holy hannah! we're almost there.


so i am going to enjoy my kzoo vacation while i am still excited and not cynical about the conference. a little graduation present. and i am going to try and make sure that all that work is done before i leave so it isn't hanging over my head.


so, you wanna meet another medievalist? i swear i am not a crazed axe murderer...but then again, if i was, would i tell you? lol
