debates: last round

this one goes to kerry. he came out strong and bush looked defensive all night. if i wasn't already voting for kerry, tonight he would have earned my vote.

i have been reading the polls and surveys and it seems that most sources are saying kerry is the winner. what is interesting are the comments on these sites.

people see what they want. i am not sure how many people are swayed by the debates.

the fact checking was very interesting. bush said he never said he "wasn't interested in bin laden" and that it was one of kerry's "exaggerations." yet there it was, press conference footage of him saying that very thing. and let's not even get into "budget man." is that an elected position? a super hero?

bush's discussion of faith was unsettling to me. i know it probably wasn't for many people, but i am increasingly unsettled by the blurring of church and state. and when it comes down to it i am not voting for someone who is looking to take away a woman's right to choice.

i admit that i watched this wanting kerry to win and in my opinion he did. does that make me different from those who wanted bush to win and think that they saw bush win? i don't know. but i do know that kerry gets my vote and after tonight i feel even more sure of that.
