it's a beautiful night and our yard looks as if people actually live here and it isn't really an abandoned lot.

throwing some chicken and sausages on the grill. peppers and onions. corn on the cob. a fresh salad. a cold drink. mmm. good way to spend a night.

tomorrow's project? while hubby tackles the deck, the boys and i are going to build a fairy garden. we are going to take out the remains of the rose bushes (they didn't survive last year's weather fiascos) and build a raised bed for the fairy garden. j and c are already drawing plans to make houses of sticks, bark, stones and moss. hopefully roxie will leave it all alone! then we are off to the garden store for some fairy friendly plants!

hopefully the weather will hold.

off to enjoy the baseball game and a nice night on the deck.
