and i didn't get arrested or anything ;)

had sooo much fun in washington. i miss hanging out with lara but we made up for it a little with a weekend of museums, goatsuckers, spit, swimming, cheeburgers/trivial pursuit, "guess my age" and laughing 'til my sides hurt fun.

the boys had a great time and for the most part behaved themselves. we managed to squeeze in the natural history museum (the baseball exhibit was my favorite!), air and space, the zoo, and yet the kids favorite part still remains the world's largest mcdonalds and talking garbage cans! lol

planning a trip to baltimore and the aquarium in the near future so we can resume the fun and have a rematch!

oh, and turns out it wasn't just a missed sunscreen spot on c...he had a reaction to the sunscreen i did manage to apply. so he is looking lovely this morning. poor little spot!

not a thing was accomplished here while i was gone, so i am going to spend today making this place inhabitable for human life.

for those doing the book club/ reading group i am going to post some discussiong questions at some point today or tomorrow and we can decide how far we are aiming to read this week. email me if you have suggestions.
