NY Mets 2006 NL East Champions!!

I believe in the church of baseball. I've tried all the major religions and most of the minor ones.I've worshipped Buddha, Allah, Brahma, Vishnu, Siva, trees, mushrooms and Isadora Duncan. I know things. For instance, there are 108 beads in a Catholic's rosary and there are 108 stitches in a baseball. When I learned that, I gave Jesus a chance. But it just didn't work out between us. The Lord laid too much guilt on me. I prefer metaphysics to theology. You see, there's no guilt in baseball. And it's never boring, which makes it like sex...It's a long season and you gotta trust it. I've tried them all, I really have, and the only church that truly feeds the soul, day in, day out, is the church of baseball - Annie Savoy Bull Durham

oils and brews

fun day making soaps and bath salts. c liked helping and made some of his own.

finally got to use some of my new herbs and oils. now if i could get a few minutes to myself to try everything out.

but the house smells so good and i have everything all labelled and where it belongs. it always amazes me how obsessive i am about some things being in their place (dvds! remember?) but the whole house always gets to be a wreck. how does that happen?

in a rare good mood today....house smells good, laptop is on the way, and tomorrow....tomorrow is a sure sign of spring. first real spring training game. mets vs dodgers...and it is televised!! life is good.

(i have to tivo it while i am at class so no one tell me about it! )
