i might try and get to the julian of norwich stuff but i will probably cave and read either a newish louise erdrich or re-read some jane austen (always a favorite!) possibly p&p although i haven't read northanger abbey in a while. maybe if i have lots of time i will read middlemarch again. we'll see how far i get through this list! i love re-reading favorites though. kind of like a visit with an old friend, one that you actually like and don't have to pretend for. you don't even have to get out of your jammies!

looks like today is mostly a stay in jammies day. hubby is off to work and the boys are happily playing with piles of new games. now i just have to call my mother and tell her that we aren't coming up tonight to sleep over. we will just meet her tomorrow. this should go well. she is upset that we aren't going to get to her house to see her tree. hmmm. well, if you actually lived there maybe we would. long story. and i don't want to get all pms-y again today. but i am not staying over up there. nope. nope. not gonna do it. there has been enough done in the name of "holiday spirit" for one season. i am back to my ol' grumpy self.
