and my house always seems so odd to me when i have been away overnight. especially when it is all dressed out in christmas decorations. (and the debris from celebrations here!)
spent yesterday, and last night, at my dad's. i love that we do that the day after so that no one is rushed or pressured. the kids get to play, though apparently never enough since they grumble and moan when it is time to leave.
guess what we got??? ok, you aren't going to guess and you are going to be soooo jealous. i am doing happy dance of joy. even the hubby is!!
we are going to see the producers on broadway!! and not only that. but nathan lane and matthew broderick are going to be back!!! so we are seeing it the way it is meant to be seen! i am ecstatic!
we are also going to see wicked on broadway. we bought tickets for my mom for christmas. so i am going to be in musical heaven in the next few months.
so we had a great time hanging out and exchanging gifts and giggling and laughing yesterday. we made s'mores on our new s'more maker. i think that may be c's favorite!
today we are buying a new washer and dryer. woohoo! letting the boys use their gift certificates for yet more games and going to see peter pan. then it is home to clean up because hubby's birthday is tomorrow.
full weekend. i can't wait to just sigh back into the couch and relax.

oooooh!!! and you know what some really good news is???? my best buddy is home today!!!! i am dying to hear about the trip and stay up late giggling over mae west martinis!
