Blood Harvest by Brant Randall
Blood Harvest by Brant Randall is the story of a Ku Klux Klan lynching in Western Massachusetts in 1928. In the afterward, Randall explains that this fictional tale is based on the true history of the Ku Klux Klan, which is a scary concept. What makes Blood Harvest a good read, though, is its construction. The story is told in several sections; each one told from the perspective of a different character. As the tale is woven together, the different characters' tales intersect until the story is told to its conclusion.
I found Blood Harvest to be an interesting historical tale as well as a compelling fictional story.
