I'm not done yet!
So for those of you who are interested in the Group Read for this month, my apologies. I am not quite finished yet.
The Group Read this month is The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova.
I am loving this book but just haven't had the time I would like to read it. So I am going to leave the comments here open to anyone who would like to get things started.
I want to start with a simple question. What drew you to this book? Recommendations? The genre? A love of all things vampire?
I always think that I shy away from vampire books because they may be cheesy. However, in the past year, some of my favorite reads have been vampire books. So, how about you? Do you make decisions based on whether or not books contain vampire lore?
Also, I tend to be drawn to books that are written as "histories." I love books based in the world of academia.
Please feel free to jump in with thoughts or a favorite passage and I promise to finish up in the next day or two.
