crappy cancellations

Gee thanks for the cancellation of most of my DVR shows. I know now I will have so much more time for pursuing intellectual goals.

Here's a short list of shows I watch that aren't coming back:

Dirty Sexy Money
Eli Stone
Pushing Daisies
Boston Legal

ABC? You suck. Just sayin'

I know that the second I start watching Dollhouse someone is going to pull the plug. Maybe it would be better if I just started watching Survivor. Then it would be canceled and the world would be a better place.

Boston Legal's best acquisition to date

John Larroquette. Brilliant, brilliant casting. Mean, mean man. Or is he?

Perfect fit for annoying Denny Crane. "How's that Mad Cow?"

I know this episode was a little bit "let's meet the new people" but it worked really well. And how about Brad as the Assistant DA?

I was jumping like Jerry when Clarice was singing and loved the bit with John Larroquette in the background.

How do you think Denny is going to react when he finds out about Carl and Shirley? Looks like no cheerleader outfit for Denny.

Clarence proved himself worth of CP&S with his speech to Carl about how Boston Legal is unlike any other firm. You have to agree there. Glad it isn't going to change in the near future.

Great season premiere!

For the wrestling match, of course

I was just thinking that I don't really watch Boston Legal any more. I mean it's still in the Season Pass manager, and I still turn it on, but more often than not I wind up doing other things while it's on and only half watching.

New characters are somewhat interesting but eh.

But...the wrestling match. Denny Crane vs. the indian from the village people, well, you know. I love the relationship between those two. It's odd and crosses all sorts of boundaries but it's great. "Could you eat me?" "Well, I'd be afraid of the mad cow."

Denny crane would like to take God fishing and thinks he might have to wrestle him for Shirley. Good stuff.

An encouraging episode. The best of the quirkiness. One that has me tuning back in next week.
