Look who's going to be on Bones!!
Check this out.
Ace Young and Brandon Rogers are going to be singing on Bones. And yes, I had to watch the clip to remember who Brandon was. Shush.
But still, two of my favorite shows. And the question is...will Booth or Bones sing as well? He sang on Angel. It wasn't pretty but he did. C'mon, you remember him singing Mandy for Lorne, don't you? Just me? Ok then.

Anyone else creeped out by biting kid?
Ewwwww. "Tastes more like beef. Except for babies. They taste more like fish." And then the bite. Ew. Ew. Ew.
Loved the creepiness returning and what looks to be a long story arch. But....hate the weird forced relationship crap with Booth and Bones. They are best when they are just firing snappy dialog at each other.
And how funny is it that Angela doesn't really remember who she married. And yet, they're both kind of ok with that.
Zach is back and as oddly endearing as ever. I am sure we haven't heard the last of the "Zach's adventures with the army" storyline.
Let's get back to the chemistry that isn't forced and some good creepy storylines and
Angel Bones will be just fine :)
Also, did you know that David Boreanaz has a blog? Not updated too often but it's there all the same.

foaming at the mouth
Ew! That was icky.
But the episode wasn't. I enjoy the Moonlighting-like tension with Bones and Booth. It works. I don't buy him with Cam, but the writing hasn't been too hokey so I'll go with it for a bit.
How sexy is a guy who takes care of his son like that? Yeah.
This show is getting better with age. In fact, I caught an episode of Buffy the other day and couldn't quite see him as Angel any more. It looked as if Booth was doing a guest spot. Looks like we are moving on.

close but not together, 'k?
Booth is hot. Of course he is, because he's Angel and we know Angel is hot. (Not quite as hot as Spike, but...)
Ok, sidetracked for a minute.
Anyway, last night's Bones was hot. And as long as you weren't looking for too much reality, clever. I mean, if you are going to be buried underground it's best to get buried with really smart people who can MacGyver their way out of there.
I am enjoying the flirting but please, please don't make this all about the relationship. Remember what happened to Moonlighting when they finally hooked up? Yup, the show tanked. No more tension, no more show. (What? You aren't old enough to remember Moonlighting? Feh!)
So let some of them hook up, but Bones and Booth? They need to just keep the tension. Tension is good.
Still mourning the loss of weekly Mario. I did find all the dances on You Tube so that's something. Those dimples, those hips, that smile. Yes, Emmett was charming and entertaining but at the end of the day Mario is a better dancer.

I don't mind at all that the shows are being pre-empted for baseball...as long as my Mets are still in the running. And last night's game was a "sit on the edge of your seat, watching through hand covered eyes" kind of game. But my Mets won!
I watched Bones this morning. Still can't decide if I like Cam. Zach seems to bow to her too easily and I don't like that she and Booth slept together. She does give Bones someone to spar with though. Good episode this week, shifting blame from one to the other to the other. I thought the judge gave up too easily though after all of that conspiring. Love Hodges. Love him. I am glad they are slowing down the relationship stuff though. I was afraid they were just going to dive into it. I like the banter.

Catching up on the DVR
I spent the morning, which I should have spent lugging junk up from the basement to the dumpster, catching up on the buildup of shows. Oh, the pressure to watch them all before the next episodes air! :)
This morning I caught up on:
Bones - I still love this show. I also still think he's just really Angel but, you know, all mortal now. When he says things about how he's killed in the past I just nod my head knowingly. This week's episode was disturbing. Yes, in a serial killery kind of way but also the way they keep changing the characters too quickly to suit storylines. I like Hodges and Angela but slow down. Give us a chance to enjoy the buildup. They are acting like 17yr old guys on a date. Sometimes we need a little more romancing than that. And we don't always need the obligatory romance on a show. Keep writing interesting, intriguing stories and we will keep watching. Is it just me? Anyone else feel like they are manipulating the characters too quickly just to change the direction of the show a little?
House: Love, love, love this week. Love Joel Grey. Love the way they tricked him. Love how he responded positively to Drs using the same approach he would have used even when it goes against what he wants. Love the last scene. Were you crying? Did you know already?
Vanished: I don't know. I might give up on this one. It just wants too much from me and I don't know if I have the energy or desire to invest in another show that I need to watch so intensely in order not too feel left behind. Anyone else watching?
Still have a few left to watch but I need to get some work done and stop giving in to the lure of the Now Playing list.
And TRAGEDY!! The DVR decided not to record Dancing with the Stars--both the show and the results show!! I was really looking forward to seeing them. Grrrrrrr.
