My best friend just stopped into work to wish me a Happy Birthday and bring me a gift ... (something to listen to on my commute) ... how sweet is that? She has a knack for taking time out of her busy days to do things for others!
Aside from that ... I'm treatin' myself rather well today ...

Of course I brought treats for the entire office...but here I sit, at my desk, with my cup o'joe from DD, and a piece of
baklava from the bakery ... just having a late afternoon treat at my desk ... mmm ... I guess it's not all bad, this having to work on your birthday stuff if you treat yourself well enough.
