When my daughter was three ~ just watching her eyes when she first saw the tree and the presents. Then again, there was the year that Santa brought a Piano!
What is your most meaningful decoration?
My nativity set. This is the focal point of our Holiday, and to me this one is very special as my husband created the creche by hand, using only materials found on our property.

So you don't like those silly pop Christmas songs either? Good for you! My kids used to love to play with our Nativity scene and my mom's. I have told my French students that the word creche is also used in English to describe a Nativity scene, but they look at me like I'm crazy. Thus, I was delighted to see you use it, Nancy!
