Meaning, don't rock the boat.
It's Friday, and I'm feelin' OK, and I'm thinkin' "one more day .... 7 more hours .... "
So I will remember the following rules, and just glide through my day.
1. Do not get in political discussions with ultra-conservative-red-neck boss.
2. Do not ask other managers "how is everything going in your department?".
3. Blog a little when I get the chance.
4. Close door, and catch up on paper work.
5. Get out of building (have a few students to visit).
6. Strive to leave by 4:30 (scheduled Friday quittin' time - that I never quite achieve)

1. Never get into ANY discussion with your boss about ANYTHING. He is a weasel who always thinks he is right.
2. I am a Manager...sniff....
3. Nope. Blog ALOT.
4. I can stand at your window with puppy-dog eyes till you let me in.
5. Go..now...shoo! It is a beautiful day out there!
6. Blow this taco stand BEFORE 4:30, and have a great weekend!
#1 I love my current job, I have a boss that have given me complete creative freedom to do what I think is best. If it doesn't work, try something else.
#2 I love being away from work more then I do being there.
#3 I have my cell phone alarm go off every day 10 minutes before quitting time, so I can start getting everything wrapped up, and start going home to my LIFE.
