looks like the dreaded "stomach flu" has hit our house...and dad is home taking care of the "issue" while I am here at work feeling miserable about not being at home ~ and yet I wonder I would want to be there right now. Guess that's the "mother" thing ~ need to be there at the worst possible times.

Just got the upstairs bath clean (sort of) -- put her to bed --- about 20 mins later she came down to use the clean bathroom --- missed the bucket again. Looks like a long night for her (and us) --- she looks soooo sad --- all I can do is wipe her face with a cool washcloth and hold her hair back and keep telling her it will get better.

Hang in there Mom and Dad. I hated those times. You see your child so sick and you are so helpless to do anything to help other than comfort. I remember begging my Mom to "do something" when I was a kid and had it... Sorry , you 3....

Hope she is feeling better today. Just to let you know the whole hold the hair and pat the back thing makes all the diffrence. Trust me I remember.
