What would they say ... ?

Watching this story unfold in the news, and seeing the inevitable "neighbor" interviewed (who herself looked a little maniacal). "Neighbors on McCoy's street said they didn't know much about the suspect or his mother."
Or his High school coach: "He was an ornery kid, but a lot of kids are ornery at that age, I don't remember him doing anything extreme."
So I was thinking of all the past interviews, of all the neighbors of all the serial killers and bombers.
Comments like:

"he always kept to himself"
"used to come and go at odd times"
"a quiet person ... didn't know him well"
"you ever saw much of him"
"seemed like a nice enough person"
... anyway, I got to wondering what would my neighbors say about me?
