- Sparky can live. With the help of three strong friends we managed to get the piano inside before the storm. Now I have started taking it apart for a little reworking. After doing some prelim. research, I am really looking forward to restoring this. It's like a big puzzle I just have to work at. And when I'm done? Just like new!

- We had people over yesterday. Sitting, grilling, hanging out by the fire. So nice to know that this house "works."

- No baseball today. Floods today. Good thing we have a third story ;) Still waiting on pairs of animals but I am sure they are on their way. Movies, movies, movies this afternoon and maybe some homemake cookies. It still counts as homemade if you just snap 'em apart and throw them in, right?
