C gave Mookie a baseball card. When Mookie said that he was sorry but he could only sign the posters today, C told him:
"No. I brought this as a present for you. It's
my baseball card and I signed it for you."
Mookie got an enormous smile on his face, checked C's stats, told him it was the coolest gift ever and said, "Wow! A catcher!"
C was very, very proud. And, of course, walked away with Mookie's autograph (as well as Sid Fernandez and Darryl Strawberry's!)
