One of these is not the reason for my lack of blogging:
- the weather has been so beautiful that I need to be outside as much as possible
- baseball, baseball, baseball
- I can't possibly pull myself away from Mets' games!!
- I have been working feverishly on my final projects for the semester
- Spring cleaning
- I discovered Sudoku
- allergies
did you guess?

Ok, I have been doing everything but working on final projects (and blogging!) The weather has been so perfect that we have been spending lots of time over at the Little League fields with the boys and the pups just playing. Final projects? I'm sure they will get done....right?
Little League has officially started back up. C is going to pitch this season. I have to say that I am really nervous about this. His team this year is....let's just say they will learn the value of losing and good sportsmanship. That's ok. But what it means is that C winds up being one of the strongest players on the team. He is playing up a year agewise so we were thinking that he might struggle playing with the older guys. Not the case. Last season we had a lot of "there's no crying in baseball" talks because he would get so frustrated. Pitching? Are you kidding me? But he is loving it and very proud.
I would obviously not be a good pitcher since I would be unable to bite me tongue and not tell off the umpire. Also, I can't throw.
He is very excited and spends all day begging Sparky to go out and have a catch. Yesterday we set up a pretend batter so he could practice. Ummm. I sure hope the little guys have strong helmets and good insurance.
As for the rest of my excuses--Have you seen the Mets???? I am afraid to do the happy dance and jinx it. But inside? Totally dancing.
Sudoku? Who would have thought that it would be so obsessive. But it isn't math at all. Just a puzzle. I rock at puzzles. I need to find harder ones (you know, since I have finished all of the boys' books! haha)
My gardens are starting to look like someone planted things on purpose and there are flowers and herbs sprouting up all over. So far so good. J is helping me plant lots of new things.
So, it's baseball and other outside adventures for us. I just ordered a hitch for my car and a two new bike racks (one for the hitch and one for the top of the tent camper) and we are planning on spending tons of time outside.
Of course, the perfect campsite would have wifi but what can you do?
