are there still six things??

Hmm. I have been tagged over at weaker vessel to tackle the "six things" meme. Are there six things I haven't managed to blather on about? Let's give it a go.

1) I used to have a pet raccoon. Actually, I had two pet raccoons, just not at the same time. One was named Kizzie (Roots was big at the time if that gives away my age a bit. I also had a cat named Kunta Kitty. No need to wonder where I get my peculiar sense of humor! lol) the raccoons were both rescues and were treated like any other family pet. They came in the house, learned to play football and knew how to reach through the couch and goose you while you were watching TV. They ate anything but were fond of fruit loops and mittens that were foolishly stuck through the outside cage.

2) I was excused from participating in tennis in gym in HS because I managed to hit myself in the head with a tennis racquet. Yes folks, that's how coordinated I am. Don't underestimate this. Do you know how difficult it is to accidentally whack yourself in the head with a racquet? It's a gift and I had the mesh-marked forehead to prove it. Anyway, it also got me out of archery.

3) I have John Denver's Greatest Hits (plus a few more) on my mp3 player. That's right, I know all the words too. And...I smile just a bit when they come on. That's just how cool I am.

4) I was a triple threat geek in HS--band, chorus and theater. And not just in a small way--concert band, jazz band, marching band, pit band, chorus, women's chorus, madrigals. I was in Guys and Dolls, Oklahoma, South Pacific, The Boy Friend and some summer stock. Oh yes, when I do geeky I go all out.

5) I am a Mets fan. Yes, yes, I know, that's not a new fact. But I hated Reggie Jackson so much that I once smooshed a stack of Reggie bars with my thumb in the store. I still feel a little guilty about that. I was a kid, really. Reggie was just in the movie Benchwarmers and when I saw him a little flood of guilt came whooshing back. Sorry Reg, really.

6) I cheated on my Girl Scout badges. I just signed the leader's name (my mom!) on the pages so I could get a cool amount of badges without having to do any nerdy activities dressed in that ridiculous green outfit. I still have the sash. I so would have gotten the forgery badge or the get out of doing things badge but they weren't in the book.

Tag 6 people?
Hmmm. Not sure who has already done this so the first 6 people to do it and post back get an attaboy attagirl attablogger

Ready...go!
