the happy dance!!

Mets thrash the Nats 13-4! That will brighten up a day. Sparky took C shoe shopping which means I do not have to spend an hour fighting and smelling the smell that is boy feet. It also means that he will come home with either Vans or Chucks and proclaim Dad the coolest.

I am going to fire up the grill, shake up a drink and celebrate. I am also blocking out the fact that tomorrow I have both kids home from school and need to do "company cleaning." I will just Scarlett O'Hara the rest of tonight's responsibilities and relax a bit.
