do you know why there is no story called "how the grinch stole valentine's day?" because no one, not even the grinch, would want to frickin' steal it. the reason that his cold heart is two sizes too small is because he has had to put up with all that valentine's day crap. it's very likely that all that hoo-hah is what drove him up onto mt. krumpet to begin with.


no one ever wakes up from a night of dickensian dreaming with ghostly tour guides to declare "i haven't missed it! the spirits did it all in one night! oh, i haven't missed valentine's day! i will hold the true meaning of valentine's day in my heart all year long!" phooey.
