hmmm. so i whooped the electronics into shape last night. they will no longer give me any trouble. the dvd recorder is working fine and now i can transfer things from tivo that we want to save. yay!

this morning i have to leave early to go to my mom's. yeah, this is my fault. i made her book a candle party when i had mine so i could get free stuff. i can't resist the free stuff. but little did i know that she would have the party before the crack of dawn when my thermometer (the one on the computer, i am not insane enough to go outside) reads...one....one! 1...uno...un....not two...that would be too warm. one.
