hubby was home from work today and said he would help me install the new dvd player. he got it from his mom (she gets this stuff free from work) anyway, it's a 5 disc one and i can't for the life of me think why you need 5 dvds in at once, they aren't cds and you aren't going to watch chapters of 5 movies on scramble.

so then he wants to help. uh huh. well, you can move the cabinet out and then for the love of god stop asking me dumb questions. i know you are trying to be helpful, but really, what is that you are going to do to help? gah.

so...after an hour or so, still no sound. i hate this thing. hubby, trying to be a good guy says "why don't you go get a dvd recorder and we can hook this one up downstairs instead."

see, he's nice. but i am not in the mood to buy electronics. that's right folks. you know i am tired and not feeling well when i don't jump all over the chance for new gadgets.

and i know the skin isn't working yet. i screwed it up in explorer somehow, but i have a headache and i am grumpy so dammit use netscape for a few minutes.

so there.

A five disk changer would be great for watching the extended versions of Lord of the Rings. No getting up to change over disks. Of course you would still need to get up for snacks and bathroom breaks. ;)
