well, that went well. i didn't even have to hide in the kitchen. i always wish for a bigger house when we have people over because i feel like i can't sit with everyone and talk. but i managed to get a chance to talk with almost everyone and now it is peaceful and almost quiet (i do have kids! there is only so much quiet we can achieve over here.)

but we had a good time and only one inlaw came over. as happy as that makes me...it is sad for hubby. only his mom came and she didn't even get him a gift. he says that's ok with him, but i don't think it is.

j slept most of the night. holidays take a lot out of the poor kid. of course, now he is wide awake!

c is still playing nintendo. he is going to eventually lose the use of all other muscles in his body and evolve into only a head and thumbs.

hubby is hiding downstairs watching the $100,000 trading spaces and i am about to call it a night and finish up my book.

and guess what???? lara is home!!! yay!!!
