dinner

decided that after weeks of my family deciding which fast food take-out or what shape pasta would be for dinner, i would actually make something.

comfort food is on the menu after a day of shopping with the idiots and dealing with kids..

shepherd's pie. i just had a debate about this with my favorite kiwi. seems that in new zealand they make it with beef. beef. in a country where sheep outnumber people 10 to 1, they use beef. i know the irish aren't exactly known for fine cuisine (as dennis leary says, "irish cuisine is when you boil everything in one big pot until you can drink it through a straw") but sheesh. sorry, i am using lamb.

shhh. my family insists that "they don't eat lamb!" only i have been making it this way for years. to be fair i usually make it half and half, but why tell them?

after dinner i am off duty. seriously, they think i don't do anything around here. ok. i am fine with that. let's just see what happens when i don't, shall we? no, i can't get that for you. no i don't know where you left that. sorry, settle that for yourselves.

i am taking the night off. chick flick anyone?

So do they have a problem with eating cute fuzzy baby animals, or do they assert they don't like the taste?:D

a little of both. they insist that they wouldn't eat the little cuties and besides they don't taste good anyway.

lol.
