hubby starts a phone call with "don't kill me but..."

sonofabitch!! he called to tell me that he invited his sister over for christmas eve. is that ok? no, it is absofrigginlutely not ok. we have a little house. couple that with the fact that my mother (who literally shows up with a truck full of gifts and food...not an exageration...she has a jeep....and every square inch is packed!) and my sister with her two little ones and hubby will be here, plus us and the boys...there isn't room. and exactly what is she going to do while we do family traditional stuff and gifts? i am not, i repeat not buying her or her demon spawn anything.

last time i saw her was last year when she stopped in unannounced on christmas day with her delinquent daughter who was dressed like a wanna-be gangsta rapper (apparently no parole meeting on the holidays) and she seemed insulted that we didn't have gifts for her precious spawn.
so i ran downstairs, wrote out a check for more than i wanted to, stuffed it in a card and shoved it at them. happy damn christmas. then her slick ass boyfriend showed up in his "making up for something" sports car, leather duster and dyed black hair and we are supposed to feed them. no! i think not.

she lives 5 minutes away and we don't hear from her unless she wants to borrow money. we see her maybe once a year and i don't want her here when it is my time to spend christmas with my family.

you want to suck the fun out of everything. fine. show up christmas night for dinner with your fun-sucking parents. funsuckers.

on edit: it is possible that hubby is aware of my attitude after our first conversation. he just called back. he called his sister and told her to come over with his parents. see? he can be taught. golly gee i can't wait for christmas dinner....there is not enough wine on the planet.....

Was thinking of stopping by for Christmas day, but I think not...I'll wait for the smoke to blow over and visit maybe the day after with stuff Santa leaves for the kids at our house...
