really? huh...

adult adhd. yeah yeah. i always figured it was a possibility. with j's diagnosis and my history. when i was a kid i was "bright but distracted" or "a daydreamer."

but lately i have been struggling with a full-time schedule at school and thought, just for fun, i would take an online "see if this is a possibility" kind of test. i know these aren't accurate. but i thought i would give it a try. there are tests for all kinds of things. go. have fun.

S C O R E S
If you scored...
You may have...
70 & up Adult ADD or ADHD
50 - 69 Moderate ADD or ADHD
35 - 49 Mild ADD or ADHD
25 - 34 Borderline ADD
0 - 24 No ADD likely

What do I score?? 107. ummm. that's a little over 70. so i send it to a friend figuring everyone gets that kind of a score. hmm. nope.

couple that with my "you should seek immediate medical attention" on the depression test and i think it's possible i could get some really good meds.

it is just frustrating and having gone this route with j i am not in the mood to do it again for myself. never mind the money...just the annoying drs. but wouldn't it be amazing to be able to get all these thoughts out and get papers done and manage my thoughts and my time just a tiny bit??

decisions...decisions...

I got 59 --- N got 89 ( I took the test for her using my best judgement) Maybe we all need drugs --- that's not a joke!! worth lookin' into

OK ~ exactly how he "took the test for me" I'm not clear ... so it wasn't an 89 - it was a 79!!
So, nothing I didn't already know ~ just some interesting descriptions (like the multi-channeled TV set in my head, etc) ...
Anyway, how about the link on the bottom to "try on-line counseling" ~ I'm sure THAT works well!

what?? online counseling isn't the best option?? lol

ok you two. i am not sure what it says when somone takes the test "for you" and makes you crazier than you think you are...

maybe there is a sep. quiz for that:)

I have my share of mishagas. But ADD isn't the cause of it.

Wow, they have ADD for adults now? Hmmmm...maybe that is why my hubby's attention span is barely longer than a flea. LOL!

Mine was an 18. Not sure about that exactly, but that's what it said! No one in my family has ever been diagnosed with add or adhd, so if that helps you figure the range of results. It might be worth you talking to your Dr about it.
Thanks for posting it!
