a million dollars...

i don't think i can afford to snipe on this auction.

i am very skeptical that this is the exact car but apparently there is documentation. we'll see.

1963 Lincoln Continental JFK Car

i don't know. i would have liked the rocking chair. a book. something along those lines, but this might be a little too creepy even for me.

i have been watching the history channel specials. sniffling, being sad. look at the adoration, the respect (internationally as well as nationally) and then compare it to the current bonehead in office. yeah, yeah, kennedy wasn't perfect. he made mistakes and he had an acitve sex life. don't care. and i realize that he unfortunately wouldn't even get elected with the media coverage we allow today.
but don't you find it a little sad that we have lost that line between public and private? that it matters as much what ones sexual preferences are as it does what ones political platforms are? feh. i don't know. probably just another rainy morning making those grainy old photos look so appealing.

Okay...sit down and be shocked - I'm about to agree with you on something concerning politics. As they were lamenting on West Wing last week, the only people who can get elected are those who stand for nothing. Shows how shallow we've become.
But, remember that the beginning of the end was the media's manipulation (thanks dad!) of *that* election, and Kennedy's debates with the last, true, *inclusive* moderate elected.
