i would never have thought it possible. and even if i was ~~a raving screeching lunatic~~a little stressed this morning getting ready...i had a great day.

it was fun to hang out with my family and friends and shop. and not just shop, shop for candles. and shop for free!!!

and now my house is all shiny and clean and everyone has headed home so i am going to wrap up in my new comfy snuggly sweater and curl up with a movie.

national lampoon's vegas vacation.

and know why?? cause hubby and i decided last night that while i am on semester break from school we are going to pack up and go to vegas and hollywood on a "tackiest vacation ever" grand tour. world's largest ball of twine? house of mud? we're there! not anything like our usual vacations, but we have never been out west. it'll be fun.

Firse of all, great party! And my daughter has told me many times today just how much fun she had (this is a RAVE review - 14-year-old girls never like anything!).

Second - have fun out west. I was there in 1995, which admittedly was a million years ago. The buffet at the Rio was magnificent, and the Liberace museum is a hoot (trust me - it's worth it!).

Sounds like a blast!
