and the verdict is...

i am not going to give a full review of matrix revolutions because some people i know *coughLARAcough* still need to see it and i don't want to spoil it.

so here are some general observations:

- i liked it. i know that it doesn't measure up to the original. it never could. and with all the hype leading up to it, it would be difficult to measure up to the expectations that people have put on this film. but i liked it.

- like the last one there was a little too much time spent on "look at the cool stuff we can do." then again. holy crap! look at the cool stuff they can do! lol.

- i like that everything isn't all tied up in a neat little package at the end. i like questions. i like to argue what it meant and not be hit over the head with it. i have heard complaints that it was all ended to simply and that they resorted to cliched tricks. ummm...then i don't think you were paying attention.

ok, so i don't think i have given anything away...come back when you are ready to argue. or better yet....go over here to still believin' (the bulletin board that you should really be over chit chatting at) and talk about it there. please post "spoiler" in the thread if you are going to give away anything good.

well, enough fun. i need to be productive this weekend. i have to get caught up before the end of semester pressure gets any worse.

still think it left too much for us to guess/assume! Part of the entertainment value that i was expecting is a completed story, especially if they are not planning on furthering the story!
how would star wars have been if they never destroyed the death star? how would nemo have been if he was never found? not that they left it that open but too many unanswered questions.

well, i was thinking that it was a different style movie aimed at a different audience then nemo :)

c'mon...there are a lot of unanswered questions in nemo too!

how did gil wind up in the tank?
what was the real reason for dory's mental lapses? who was responsible for that?
how did they ever get out of those plastic bags? (you know there is only two hours of oxegen in little fishie bags)
why was the one pelican chosen to speak to the fish?

plenty. lol.

ok ok....but i still like to figure out what happens next!
