so after racing around the house biting everyone's heads off all day, we made it trick or treating. here (in the extended entry) are the boys and my little sister right afterwards (because as mom of the year i forgot to take their pictures when they went out)

the fog machine in the front yard was a big hit, but we were disappointed that there weren't more little goblins and gremlins out last night.

we had a good time with everyone hanging out later at the house. it's been awhile since we had everyone over. so long in fact that we didn't all have kids yet. or at least we didn't have so many. or maybe it just feels that way. lol. there was a time when we had halloween parties every year.

by 11:00 everyone in this house was snoring (hubby, boys and dog!) except me. i was searching for harry 2 in the tank. thought i lost him. eek! turns out he was hiding under a rock. whew. can you imagine waking up in the middle of the night with a little lizard creeping over your face. aaah!

today is recovery day. clean up, let the kids come down from their sugar high and get a few things done. (papers?? nah)
