mmmm.....blue raspberry martinis.

spent the day trying to do happy family things. you know...."let's go! hurry up and have fun dammit!"

we wandered around palmer square where they no longer sell thomas sweets ice cream. grrrrrr. perused a few local shops and then moved on to the mainstream stores where we hit petsmart (puppy stuff!) and wegmans.

never, i repeat, never go shopping with two boys and a hubby. the cart is overflowing with junk and they are taking turns being a bad influence on each other. cart races, etc. three kids i tell ya. i have three kids.

but we are home and happy and drinking yummy blue martinis (just us, not the kids!) and it's a school night so the little guys are off to bed early.

oh, and i finished my paper so i am not stressing any more. looks like a good night to relax and hope that the mets finally tromple the phils.

The Thomas Sweet in Palmer Square is now chocolates only, but the Thomas Sweet up north on Nassau Street still serves ice cream. But, IMHO, the better ice cream is at Halo Pub on Hulfish Street.

Hope you didn't stay up (like we tried to do) to watch the end of that game! I fell asleep in the 10th.
