we survived the birthday parties with less stress than usual. and even though the little guy isn't officially six until tomorrow, the parties are, for the most part, over.

he was happy with all the loot he raked in and hubby and i even got a chance to sit out on the deck and relax with friends. all in all a good party. spent yesterday at my parents relaxing as the little guy enjoyed party #2.

tonight we are off to see the mets. really, how many can they lose in a row? they have to win eventually, don't they? maybe it will rain.

oh, and to the person who was going 25, yes, 25, in a 50 mph zone last night - would it have killed you to let people pass? did you not see the line of cars behind you? we had to speed up to do the recommended speed limit for the curves. urgh.
