i have spent the last two days digging and rummaging through my kid's closets and toyboxes. hi, my name is michelle, and i am a packrat. i managed to clear out 6 bags of junk and collect a large bag of clothes for woman's space. i have a rather large stack of books in nearly new condition that i need to find a home for. my kids have outgrown them and i want to find somewhere to donate them that they will not be sold, just given to someone who needs them. suggestions? it is so difficult for me to part with all these little pieces of my kid's lives. even junky little toys. i just took a deep breath and ran on "throw it out" mode for a few days.

but the dust is finally settling and with the little guy's mural being almost done (more pictures in a bit) and the rooms all cleaned out i feel like i have made some progress. i am in project mode over here. of course, for me, that is more accurately "start project mode" since i will be very enthusiastic about all these things for only as long as my tiny little attention span will allow. at least some things get done during this time.

went to a creative memories party last night. way long ago i used to be a consultant for them. i forgot how much i loved doing the scrapbooks. i just don't have as much time now with school and the kids. but i might start setting aside some time to get things done. (see, another project!)
