blech. another dreary day.

but yesterday was fun. went and played with my new little niece melora. (and her fun big sister!!) i also remembered some very valuable information. babies are cute. they are sweet and sometimes smell good. they are snuggly. you spend lots of time cooing at them and saying "awwww!!" and they are the best when you can give them back!! i forgot how much attention little munchkins need. thanks for the loan but i like my own and i am glad that i can almost have a thought now. almost.

mets won. no, you didn't read that wrong. mets won. first time in 13 games at pac bell, but they did it with a team of second string guys with a ton of heart. gotta love that. piazza might be out for a month or more. that breaks my heart.

concert today. from the group of about 65-70 that i usually play with the director hand-picked about 25 of us to play. it was awkward at rehearsal...

grumble grumble grumble.

i feel bad for people who weren't picked, but then again, not that sad...i want to hear what it sounds like with a small group of people who listen, blend, and i don't know...practice??

still thinking of robes and "berets"...who woulda thunk?? ok, ok, i know. it isn't a big surprise. smart is very sexy.

hubby is sleeping on the couch in spiderman jammies and a t-shirt. i keep threatening him that i am going to take his picture if he doesn't get up soon. he doesn't believe me........hahahaha.
